Policies & Procedures


Thank you for choosing Fresh Fork catering by Eurest Dining (a member of Compass Group Canada). In order to ensure a well-organized event, we ask that you follow these catering policies. Should you have any questions, please discuss these policies with our catering department prior to the event.

Hours of Operation:  Catering is provided during normal operating hours of The Market Place (7am to 6pm - Monday to Friday).  Catering requests outside of these hours of operation may incur additional charges)
 
Ordering Lead Time: A minimum of 3 business days’ notice for catering orders is requested, to ensure we are able to fulfill your selections.  Final numbers must be provided to us 2 business days before your event. Large events require 2 weeks’ notice.  We must be notified of the guaranteed number of guests attending your large event 3 business days prior to the event. We understand that last minute needs do arise.  Please contact the catering office with your late request and we will make every effort to accommodate it.
 
Special Requests: If you have any special requests for guests with allergies or food intolerances or for a food item not shown, we will be pleased to customize your menu and provide you with a quote. 
 
Catering Confirmation: An event confirmation will be sent to you outlining details of the arrangements you have made with us. Please review it and call us immediately if there are changes to be made.
 
Cancellations: Orders must be cancelled a minimum of 48 hours in advance, otherwise full payment will be required.
 
Payment: Prices do not include GST or gratuity, WestJet purchase order or credit cards may be used for payment. Prices are subject to change and will be confirmed up to thirty (30) days prior to the event.   

WestJet staff using Purchase orders for payment: obtain a catering quote and generate a purchase order. Provide catering department with purchase order number and the catering order will be confirmed. Invoice to be sent to individual ordering catering for submission to accountspayable@westjet.com for payment. Payment term: 30 days    

WestJet staff using credit cards for payment: obtain a catering quote and pay using credit card.

For all external events: an advance deposit is required to confirm your food service date. The amount will depend on the type of event. This deposit is due upon your first meeting with Eurest or at the time of the initial booking and is non-refundable. The remaining amount of the estimated balance is due 48 hours prior to the event. Any balance remaining is due upon receipt of invoice.  

BASED ON ALBERTA HEALTH AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS, ANY LEFT OVER FOOD AND BEVERAGE REMAINS THE PROPERTY OF FOOD SERVICES & MAY NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES.
 
Eurest Dining is NOT responsible for damages to, or loss, of any articles left in the rooms or buildings prior to, during, or following any function by the customer or any guests.
 
Setup: Orders are served with quality disposable ware or china. Our delivery personnel will set up your order with a tablecloth and all utensils and condiments required for your service. It is the client’s responsibility to provide access into the building (if required) and tables in which to place the food and beverage.

Cleanup: Cleanup will be done by the catering staff at the time requested on the order if possible, this may need to be adjusted at the staff’s discretion based on business needs. Orders that specify service on china include cleanup in the pricing.
 
ANY UNRETURNED CATERING EQUIPMENT WILL BE BILLED TO THE REQUESTING PARTY AT FULL COST.
 
 
Depending on the complexity of the event, staff charges may apply.
Please discuss with your catering representative. A 15% gratuity charge will be added to all food and beverage for staffed events. Additional charges may apply in the following situations: - For functions where ceramic and/or glass is requested in place of single use disposable products. -   When additional staff are requested  - When linen required is in excess of that supplied for the presentation and service of the food. - When rental equipment is required.
 
Bar Services are available upon request.  Please discuss with your catering representative.
